Consulting work
Over the years, I have been privileged to work with many of the biggest names in software, hardware and online news in various consulting capacities. I have consulted for America Online, Apple, Ebay, IBM, Microsoft, Prodigy, the St. Petersburg Times and several others.
An expertise of mine is the history of online services, which of course involves the development and evolution of quite a lot of intellectual property and patents. As a result, I have worked with several large law firms on patent-infringement cases. I find that work fascinating. It's fun to reconstruct the evolution of ideas that are revolutionizing computing and human interaction.
